Workspace & Projects

In Ideon, your work is organized into Projects. Each project contains a Canvas, which is an infinite 2D space where you can place and organize your Blocks.

The Canvas

The canvas is the heart of Ideon. It's where you map out your project's ecosystem.

• Infinite Space: Pan and zoom freely to organize your thoughts.
• Spatial Arrangement: Group related items together by placing them close to each other.
• Visual Connections: Connect blocks with edges to show relationships and dependencies.

Projects

A project is a container for your canvas, collaborators, and history.

• Creation: You can create unlimited projects.
• Collaboration: Invite other users to your project. Changes are synced in realtime.
• History: Ideon saves snapshots of your project state, allowing you to review how your project evolved.

Realtime Collaboration

Ideon uses CRDTs (Conflict-free Replicated Data Types) via Yjs to ensure that multiple users can edit the same project simultaneously without conflicts. You can see others' cursors and edits in realtime.
